About Us

Established in 1975, Kings County WIC has proudly served the families in our community as one of the first clinics opened not just in California, but the entire nation! Today, our program supports a caseload of 7,950 participants from all five sites in Hanford, Lemoore, Corcoran, Avenal, and Kettleman City!

Our Mission

To safeguard the health of low-income women, infants, and children who are at nutritional risk by providing nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to health services.
